Thomas Hague
Agent • Principal
TJ graduated from West Central High School in Francesville, Indiana, where he grew up on his family’s small farm. He then went on to Purdue University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He spent approximately 12 years around the Detroit area until moving to La Porte in 2007. Since that time, TJ has been active in every aspect of the agency. He is currently licensed in both the Property and Casualty as well as Life and Health. He is also knowledgable on crop insurance.
TJ and his wife, Kelly, and two children live just west of La Porte, near Pinola. He is very active in the Kiwanis Club of La Porte, where he currently is the Vice President and on the Board of Directors. He is also active within the insurance industry. He is on the Board of Directors as the National Director for the Professional Insurance Agents of Indiana. This position allows him to be on the Board of Directors for the National Professional Insurance Agents organization.
His hobbies include spending time with his family, running, gardening and outdoor activities.
Gail Beal
Agent
Gail D. Beal started at La Porte Insurance Agency in December of 2007 as a customer service representative. In May of 2008, she became a licensed Property and Casualty producer, able to sell and service all of your auto, home, motorcycle, RV, and commercial lines, etc…. business needs.
She is a member of the Professional Insurance Agents of Indiana and holds a Certified Insurance Service Representative designation. She is a Public Notary and recently obtained her Life and Health producers license in 2021. In 2020 she became involved with the development committee of Dunebrook Inc., a non-for-profit social services organization in Indiana.
Gail is a lifelong resident of La Porte Indiana.
She is passionate about fitness and instructs Zumba Fitness classes after work hours and on the weekends. She loves to be active in the sun and outdoors and enjoys frequenting many of the local, city, county, and state parks.
Rachel Hall
Agent
Rachel has been a La Porte County resident since 2003. She graduated from Portage Christian in 1995 and attended Olivet Nazarene University. She obtained her Real Estate license in 1996 and her Brokers license in 2014. She is also an experienced photographer who has photographed families, seniors, and more than 75 weddings since 2009.
Rachel joined La Porte Insurance Agency as a CSR in July of 2019 and obtained her Property & Casualty license in November 2019. She takes pleasure in finding the best and most affordable coverage for her client’s home and auto insurance needs and she enjoys writing coverage for small businesses.
Rachel obtained her Accident, Health, and Life license in 2021 and is excited that she will be able to further meet the needs of her clients.
When she isn’t at the office, Rachel and her husband Ryan can usually be found at a soccer or softball field cheering for one or both of their girls. She loves reading, hiking, baking, and her pets. She is a member of Journey Church where she is a Guest Services volunteer.
Craig Welsh
Agent
Craig is from Union Mills where he has grown up farming and working in his father’s fabrication shop. He currently grows wheat, beans, corn, as well as makes hay and straw when away from the insurance world.
Mr. Welsh joined the agency and was licensed in Property and Casualty insurance in early 2021. His focus is on working with farm as well as commercial policy customers.
In Craig’s free time, he enjoys all sorts of hunting, fishing as well as target shooting.
